Nicole Ronald-Jones has been fine woodworking for two and a half years. She holds a certificate of Fine Furniture from Camosun College, Victoria, BC where she was greatly influenced and inspired by instructors Cam Russell, Ken Guenter, and Karen Trickett.

Nicole is interested in modern and contemporary aesthetics. Her pieces focus on sweeping curves and functionality. In her words: "I love pieces that push the limits of design, yet are still functional."

"Espresso" consists of two pieces: one is a hand-shaped, ebonized, stacked lamination. The other is a figured-maple, bent lamination. The glass top and shelf offer function, without obstructing the sculptural qualities of the base.

Nicole welcomes people to contact her by phone or email.
