Paul Gort is a Whitehorse native currently residing in Victoria. He has been practicing fine woodworking for one year, and in his words "not-so-fine woodwork for several years prior." He is currently enrolled in the Fine Furniture program at Camosun College under the instruction of Cam Russell and Ken Guenter.

His current aesthetic interest is 1980's deco revival.
