Jeff Trigg has been doing fine woodwork professionally for four and a half years since starting Jeff Trigg Fine Furniture. He is a self-taught furniture maker and designer, and is influenced by the beauty of nature and the natural surroundings that he lives in.

Jeff works exclusively in domestic hardwoods and softwoods with an emphasis on local species. He prefers clean lines, extensive handwork with visible joinery where appropriate, an emphasis on grain patterns, and hand-rubbed finishes (no dyes/stains) to bring out the natural beauty and feeling of the wood.

His "Black Walnut Lingerie Cabinet" hints at a subtle, westcoast Native aesthetic. The body is made from black walnut with maple and fir side panels that are textured to provide a gentle contrast. The drawer dovetails are hand-cut and the hand-rubbed oil finish brings out the natural grain.
