The Helen McCall Photography Project

The Sunshine Coast Museum has produced a CD-ROM with 1128 images from its Helen McCall photograph collection. This CD will be a useful tool for those interested in historical photography and for researchers in the field.

Helen McCall's Community Album received a wonderful review by Audrey Owen in the British Columbia Museums Association's journal Roundup , no. 225 (page 17). In part, Owen states that the publication �is a mini-museum in a coffee table book. It can be read on many levels�The main text is like a docent, giving an overview to help interpret artifacts. The Appendix is for the more serious researcher�Like any good museum the book answers many questions, poses others, and begs to be revisited.�
