Designed by the owner for himself, there an ocean liner feel as if this a Streamlined Moderne superstructure. Indeed the house steams out into its own dramatic views from the hillside perch between two roads winding up Tolmie. The marine effect is supported by the metal eve copings and wire mesh balustrades.
