E.H.Luney was the contractor for Preiswerk, nephew of the owner of an equally dramatic commercial Moderne statement, the Atlas Theatre on Yates Street. The curved glass block feature wall and rounded entrance canopy reinforce the streamline effect of the Moderne aesthetic.
