The Arts and Crafts Movement
An excellent resource on many of the personalities and organizations of the Arts and Crafts Movement including William Morris, the Roycroft Institute, Rookwood Pottery, Louis Comfort Tiffany, John Ruskin, and many others. It also includes further links to many additional resources.

The Arts and Crafts Society
In the founder's words, "An online community dedicated to the philosophy and spirit of the Arts and Crafts Movement." This is a site for those interested in contemporary Arts and Crafts events and artisans.

The William Morris Society
In their own words, their site is "devoted to William Morris (1834-96), the British craftsman, designer, writer, typographer, and Socialist. It aims to present news of Morris-related events and publications; information about the worldwide William Morris Society; materials relating to the life and work of Morris, his friends, and followers; and links to other places of interest on the Internet. "

Charles Rennie Mackintosh Society
The Charles Rennie Mackintosh Society is an independent, non-profit making charity, established in 1973 to promote and encourage awareness of the Scottish architect and designer, Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The site gives details on the life and works of Mackintosh.

The Pre-Raphaelites

Pre-Raphaelite Society
This society is dedicated to the study and criticism of the Pre-Raphaelites, particularly Burne-Jones, Rossetti, Millais, and Holman-Hunt. Although not available online, the society puts out a tri-yearly publication, the Review of the Pre-Raphaelite Society that can be ordered. Current copies can be automatically received through yearly membership.

The Complete Writings and Pictures of Dante Gabriel Rossetti
This Archive, sponsored part by the University of Virginia and edited by Jerome J. McGann, digitally archives all of Rossetti's writings and works with explanations and contextualization of each.

The Victorian Web

Sponsored by the National University of Singapore, this site gives many details on the artists and cultural influences from the John & Katharine Maltwood Collection site. Although the layout is a bit confusing, the information is extensive and detailed. It is an excellent resource if you are looking for more information on a particular artist, movement, or medium from the Victorian period. We suggest starting by looking under the 'Visual Arts' section.
