Sited on a sloping lot, the geometic planes and volumes are never-the-less adapted to the site. Window and porch roofs extend out of the imaginary grids, defined by horizontal and vertical facia boards in sharp colour contract to the white stucco wall surfaces. With such houses Di Castri introduces a new, but still indiginous, design vocabulary to his Victoria clientelle.
