Customer Service Engineer
As a member of Creo's Response Centre, you'll be involved with:
· Front-line telephone support with remote access diagnostic
capabilities and technical support for the various hardware/software
elements of Creo's systems for customers and partner companies
· Corrective and preventative hardware maintenance
· Develop and promote the use of measurement systems to monitor job
performance and customer satisfaction
· Tracking customer call information through our customber database
· On-the-job training, education, and assistance to fellow Creoites,
customers, and partner companies
You are comfortable
troubleshooting electronics, networks,
electro-mechanical & pneumatic assemblies and/or robotics. As well, you
have a working knowledge of industry standard software and hardware systems,
networks, terminals, printers, communications equipment, diagnostic tools,
and other products related to a service support environment. You also
possess
· Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills
· Excellent time management and prioritization skills
· Ability to analyze and interpret complicated information
· Flexibility for occasional travel to field operations
· Flexibility for after hours and rotating shifts in the 24x7 Response
Centre

Software Developer
Prinergy is Creo's new
next generation pre-press workflow product that was
announced in early September. Prinergy is a full client-server system with
Java based user interface clients, running on Mac or WindowsNT workstations,
accessing servers via CORBA. Prinergy uses Adobe PDF as its internal file
format.
As a member of the
development team, you will be involved with:
· Design, implementation, and test of software components
· Enhance and modify the existing code base
· Work with other team members on design ideas and code
· Integration and test software components from multiple existing products
· Support the systems at customer sites during beta testing and trade shows
We are looking for
someone with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science
or Electrical Engineering with a strong interest in software development.
You have previous co-op terms developing software and should also possess:
· Experience with C++ and Java and development in a Windows NT
platform with Rational Clearcase
· Experience in modifying and integrating software components
You are also well known
for your strengths as a team player who is
self-managed and is creative and innovative. You have good communication
skills and a keen attention to detail.
