North Park Manor (1975)

875 North Park Street

Architects: Wade Stockill Armour & Blewett

The unusual angled siting, rarely economical for land use, was chosen here to protect an old arboretum, an amenity useful to this senior citizens' housing society. The formal solution for the tower, class curtainwall contained between soaring concrete end walls recalls Geo Ponti's well-published 1956-60 Pirelli Building, Milan.
