Post-and-beam construction is exploited to open up the envelope for bands of windows sheltered under the extended eves of the low pitched roof. The flat-capped chimneys are a major feature; boad-and -batten vertical siding is relieved at the front by a balustrade demonstrating a creative sculptural use of concrete block.
