Ladislav Holovsky

After graduating from the University of Victoria, Holovsky gained work experience in Germany and Switzerland, from 1965 to 1968, and in Toronto before joining the Bastion Group in Victoria in 1975. He then became a member of Associated Architects in 1978. He formed his own firm in 1981. Various partnerships followed: Holovsky Whitfield (1984-1985), (1989-1990); from 1990 Holovsky Mansfield. Representative projects include the Western Community Courthouse, Claremont Secondary School additions, Stellys Secondary School additions, the W & J Wilson restoration and renovations, Blanshard Centre, the CBC Broadcasting Facility, Royal Colwood Golf and Country Club and as part of the Commonwealth Group Architects, the Saanich Commonwealth Place pool and recreation centre.
